Metamask wrongly displays the amount of gas

This is what I see when I try to claim a token from staking (Mantle chain).

And this is the actual amount of fees using explorer.mantle.xyz

Is this intentional or a bug? If this is totally normal please explain why and how this works.

The estimated gas fee you see on MetaMask is just for the gas fees, are there any other fees associated with claiming your token from staking?

No other fees. Even if I am not claiming the fee is displayed the same way.
