Just curious - Is MetaMask currently working on a method to stop unwanted AirDrops from crypto scammers?

Such an important issue about these ScamDrops
if none are being sent out, surely red alert being a scam drop.
Surely, something can be done about these to prevent anyone from interacting with these tokens and websites. Isnt there a blacklist website for MM to pull some data from as a lookup maybe till date?
These guys on bankless were talking about that ecr20/eth is the safest network/protocol. cough!!

By default we don’t show tokens on user’s wallet that have not been added by them or identified through our token detection feature to minimize the risks of users interacting with scam airdrops.
We also curate our own list of known phishing websites and warn users whenever they try to access those.

this problem not with wallet
blockchain must provide security for contract and need new mechanism which must check contract creator(for example age of address or something else)
