I have USDT on the Binance Chain, on my MetaMask protfolio, that I’m trying to send to my Binance Wallett, but everytime I do, it shows me a really weird total amount (gas fees + amount) of $21, when I’m trying to send $63 USDT with gas fees about $0.02…
I don’t understand where do these $21 come from. And when I try swapping to another token, bridge to another network… They keep showing up !
But I’m on BSC, the fees are supposed to be really low, this looks like ETH gas fees.
Let me know if someone understands where does the problem come from, or if BSC gas fees suddenly exploded and I’m not aware of it
Ok, I managed to make some progress, by modifying the token I wanted to send, that was not the right one showing up. Then I got two transactions to confirm, and one was flagged as dangerous, but it was from MetaMask. I clicked confirmed anyway but it is now stucked, as “unauthorized”, even though I keep clicking “confirm” it doesnt send.
I’d recommend reaching out to the MetaMask team here: https://support.metamask.io/
Click on the “Start a conversation” blue box. This will connect you to a bot at first, answer some questions and it will open a ticket for you with an agent. Keep interacting with the bot until it redirects you to an agent.
I don’t think ‘managed to make some progress’, and ‘I clicked on confirm a dangerous tx that doesn’t match what I want to do’ are compatible statements.
