I read from the FAQ of metamask that there is a fee for swapping tokens (a dynamic service fee that ranges between 0.3 % - 0.875 %). What if i want to use metamask as a wallet and just want to transfer coins/tokens to another address? Is there also a fee for that (besides the gas fees)? Are there any other hidden fees or subscription fees for just using metamask?

There are NO fees charged by MetaMask for transferring tokens, and NO hidden fees or subscription fees. The only fees you will have for transferring tokens are the gas fees from the network.
