Hello i have a question. This question may be obvious to some 
Can you transfer btc directly to MetaMask? For example from the Binance exchange or wallet. If so, in what way.

The MetaMask wallet is only compatible with EVM networks (eg Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon etc…) The Bitcoin blockchain is not an EVM.
EVM networks use wrapped bitcoin - WBTC (its price is pegged to the price of bitcoin 1 to 1). The contract is deployed in many networks. But still, it should be understood that bitcoin is much better stored in the main chain.

MetaMask is an Ethereum wallet and supports the EVM compatible blockchains such as Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Optimism, and Arbitrum. Bitcoin network is not an EVM compatible network, and you can NOT transfer BTC on the Bitcoin network to MetaMask.
However, You can hold WBTC (Wrapped Bitcoin) in your MetaMask wallet. WBTC is an Ethereum-based token representing Bitcoin with a 1:1 backing.
