We have this article here that would further explain why you may not see a fiat value on your token. Its crazy anyways and I Hope Metamask will fix it as they can if they not lazy. As you go to Pancake swap for example you can put USDT for exchange and check value of token this way, but its bit difficult and takes time…So can you pro people in Metamask fix this???
