Unable to sign txn using MM+Ledger+Brave

Hi,

I installed brave a while ago and I connected my ledger and the accounts stored on it to MetaMask. Then I didn’t use brave for a while and kept using firefox. Now, I’d like to switch from firefox to brave. I tried to sign a transaction using brave and MetaMask and my ledger. It doesn’t work. I’m getting the error (in a popup window):

ledgerlive://bridge?appName=Ethereum

I had the ledgerlive app running and unlocked and the ledger unlocked, too.

Is something still not connected or am I missing something else?

I’m using:

  • Manjaro linux
  • Brave 1.26.77 Chromium: 91.0.4472.164
  • MetaMask 9.8.0
