forgot password so I recovered my account from the seed phrase, but my address is different and the balance is 0. I never exported the private key before I did the reset.

The same problem am encountering
This is a problem that is happening a lot and the MetaMask team seems to just ignore it.
Currently having the same problem and still nothing.
