Funds transferred to yourself will not be lost.
You can paste your address in the current blockchain explorer to see all the activity. If it was transferred to another address, there will be a record.

Please also confirm the full address on the block explorer. It could also be a result of an address poisoning spam, see here on our Knowledge Base for more info:
