Auto Add Tokens

As the title says, let’s have Metamask automatically add tokens that a wallet holds. Adding via custom pane is difficult for normies

This shouldn’t be that hard. Would be a nice convenient thing to add.

The option for token detection is actually currently available on Ethereum mainnet :slight_smile:

Hey @nickg, MetaMask currently pulls its data from OpenSea, so if OpenSea expanded to supporting Avalanche this would be possible.

Hi @nakedwinnie ,

Assuming we could match the same API interface as opensea. is there any chance Metamask would let us add a custom NFT indexer url?

Would love to have my customer’s NFTs automatically appear in their Metamask wallets!

This is an interesting suggestion @nickg, feel free to create a new feature request for it at Feature Requests / Ideas - MetaMask!

You may also be interested in MetaMask Flask, where developing something like a custom NFT indexer URL as a plugin may be possible. :point_down:
