Erroneously sent USDC to contract address rather than my exchange account

Hi,

I erroneously sent USDC on BSC from my MetaMask wallet to the Binance USDC contract address rather than my exchange wallet. Very stupid mistake! I was wondering if there is anyway to retrieve or if anyone knows if there is a potential bounce back from this address?

I have contacted circle and they said the transaction is irreverisble.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The fact is that once the funds are transferred to the token contract address, no one can get it back. Many people have made mistakes like this.
Therefore, we need to check the recipient’s address before we transfer.

I have made this mistakes too, but nothing can be done you just have to be careful next time
