Whenever I try to log in with my account with the right password, the error “cannot unlock without a previous vault” appears, then I reset the application, I use the 12 words, then it works normally, dps that I close the application sometimes appears to reset the password ,and the error appears again…

Please kindly note to not reset MetaMask without instruction from a support agent.
The error message"cannot unlock without a previous vault" does not indicate that the password was changed.
How often does this happen and which version number are you on?
