ETH/ERC20 deposit from Binance

Forever waiting for Metamask support feedback, so reposting:

Having followed a Ledger support article to no avail, I still need the community’s help.

Having (wrongly) withdrawn ETH from Binance into my Ledger not through the ETH network but the BEP20 (BSC) network, I followed the steps in the above link to try to get it back but I am stuck.

I connected Metamask to my Ledger, and added my ETH as custm tokens, and my ETH finally became visible.

But then when I tried to send my ETH back from my Ledger BSC account to Binance, although the withdrawal was successful, the ETH never arrived at the Binance account, and I have no clue why.

I requested an “uncredited deposit application” with Binance, which was soon Rejected…

  1. What did I do wrong?
  2. Can I get my ETH back, and how?

i can’t seem to be able to attach links or screenshots…

can’t access the wallet from where i am. if you need the txhash is there a way i could find it without logging in to the said wallet (it’s in a PC in a different place)
