Unable to move usdt to any platform says insufficient funds what can I do
Hi there! Please be sure to have enough to cover the gas fees for the transaction before complete any process. If the situation is different, please share about it
Please refer to this page for details as well:
Iâve typed in amount way less than what I have in there but it still wonât allow me proceed. It wonât even allow me send out $1 out of $9000 and itâs so frustrating. Please help me, thanks.
Hi there! Are you trying to send the USDT from Linea network? If yes, make sure you have enough Linea ETH to cover the transaction fee as Max2 suggested above. If you are sending from another network, you will still need enough of that networkâs native token to cover the transaction fee.
If you have enough token to cover the transaction fee and you are still facing the issue, then you can reach out to MetaMaskâs support team at https://support.metamask.io/ to take a closer look at the issue.
Click on the âcontact supportâ button on the page to pop out the chat box.
You may get an automated response from bot at first, you will get a response from human agent if the bot is not able to help.
Please share your wallet address here if you feel comfortable doing so and Iâll take a look.
Alternatively you can reach out to the MetaMask support team.
Steps to reach live MetaMask Support:
- Visit https://support.metamask.io/
- Click âContact Supportâ under the Start a Conversation bubble.
- Wait a few seconds for the chat window to load. If it doesnât appear, try another browser.
- A support bot will start the chat first. If it canât help, you can get connected to a live agent by typing âagentâ repeatedly until youâre connected to a human
I am trying to transfer my balance or part of my balance to coinbase my balance is in usdt and it says I have an insufficient balance no matter what I put in there $1 or $200 it says insufficient funds and I donât have a clue what to do about it
Youâll need the native coin of whichever network you have the USDT on. MM supports hundreds of networks, so its hard for us to know which one you have them on. If youre not sure how to check, get in touch with us though the support chat. We ask people not to share any personal details on socials (like a wallet address). Wallet address will help us find which network your USDT is on, so we could advise which coin youâll need for gas fees. Note on security: theres nothing inherently dangerous about sharing a wallet address or txn hash, but it allows anyone to see what assets are in the address. So can make people a target for scammers (hence why we discourage posting them)
On ethereum, thats ETH.
On BNB smart chain, its BNB.
On Polygon, youâd need POL.
and so on.
