Lost Coins After Metamask Swap

I swapped some about 1.4 bnb worth $769 to GFX and on my Binance scan the swap router shows all went well until the final part of getting the GFX . I got 92.0 GFX worth $44 even if we assume slippage which I did checked before swapping. About $700 worth of BNB have just disappeared.

NB: seeing alot of complaints about this on Metamask. Have Support addressed this glitch. Until the do :warning: warning don’t use meta mask.

Same thing happened to me before with a token that went on to did a 10x and I didn’t profit as the coins just vanished soon after swap.

Now it just happened to me again, twice with another coin… I’m fed up.

It seems like its a repeated occurrence and MetaMask doesn’t care about addressing this internal issue! Lets file a report with and warn everyone that MetaMask cant be trusted.

I am trying to pinpoint where does the issue stems from before taking any action.

I am not sure 100% if it’s Pancakeswap’s fault or Metamask’s.

Hey @Boha, sorry to hear this has happened.

First and foremost, please make sure you are interacting with a legitimate token. Would you also be able to send a transaction hash? That would provide more helpful information.

It may be that there was large price impact caused by low liquidity of GFX. Here is more information on our Knowledge Base:

Hey @Spaceswim, would you be able to send a transaction hash or your wallet address? That would provide more helpful information. If you coins vanished after your swap, it may be that your wallet has been compromised. Did you confirm any transactions out of your wallet?

Me pasó igual con Mis tokens de PumpETH disminuyeron y no hay registro de actividad. La ultima actividad es la aprovación de limite de gastos que es esta 0xe6756a6104fdeb21f0fa2d0ee14502dbe520d6c78c6fb48fdf06094f3e2fe05f. Ya que estaba esperando el Token subiera para cambiar por BNB.
