My MetaMask plug-in cannot be opened in the chrome plug-in, and it keeps spinning in circles. I have tried to download the MetaMask plug-in using other browsers and then import the mnemonic, but the account cannot be saved because I did not save the account private key. There is no way to solve this problem now. I need to successfully enter my chrome MetaMask, which contains some important accounts. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thank you!

This situation has lasted for several days. I have tried restarting the computer and clearing the Chrome cache, but it still can’t be solved!

Hi @ALIANG thank you so much for the details, just to confirm, the account you want to access was an imported account, I mean are you sure you imported it using a private key?
Can you please confirm the version of the MetaMask extension / app you are using? To get it please go to settings then scroll down, About MetaMask.

1, open Chrome’s extension management page.
chrome://extensions/
2, disable MetaMask first, that is, turn it off
3, and then enable it.

Now you should be able to use it normally

Try turn on developer mode:

Then click on update top left and all your extensions will be updated.
