It’s worth trying the mobile app - there’s no fix for this on the extension, no acknowedgement of a bug here either so far - hopefully that’ll be forthcoming. I took a ticket weeks ago but never heard anything back so far.
I am having the same issues as many others have had, but with IOS app. Every time I try to send out tokens, and it doesn’t matter which network (ETH, BSC, AVAX, CRONOS), the “max amount” button is greyed out, and then once I type in the amount to send the “Next” button below stays greyed out and thus I cannot send any tokens anywhere and it is beyond frustrating. I have plenty of tokens for gas fees on all the chains, that is not the problem, the app is the problem. This is not a ‘user error’ issue.
You have raised this question for a long time. I don’t know if you still have the same difficulty. I also faced the same problem last year. The transfer button is gray, but I tried to solve it at that time
After I imported the wallet into the token Pocket Wallet with the private key, the problem was solved. Then I uninstalled the metamask plug-in and reinstalled it. Then I re imported the private key into metamask. Finally, the problem was solved
