Metamask doesn't start in Firefox and wallet can't connect to swap sites

In Firefox, MetaMask doesn’t start. I can click on the icon but I only see a circle turning around. I cannot connect my wallet to swap sites as well. Any idea what I can do?

Yes, I have the 12 word phrase.

I tried. I uninstalled and installed it. It gives me another wallet address and the wallet is empty. Mine wallet was not empty…

I have the account address and the 12 word phrase. That is it. Would that be enough?
