Metamask not showing any ETH, but Etherscan shows correct amount

If your ETH is not on the Ethereum chain, you need to add its contract address depending on the network on which you have ETH.
To better assist you, please let us know on which network you have ETH.

Can you see the ETH balance in your account on Etherscan?

hi still couldnt see it.the balance was the same as before and the 1 eth transferrered from cryptp dot com is not appearing on my balance

Are you sure that you sent the ETH on the Ethereum chain and not on the other chains?
Was the transaction successful?

Hi @Ramm when you search your MetaMask ETH address on Etherscan.io do you see your eth there?
You have to see it in ETH BALANCE

Please reply to this question: Can you see the ETH balance in your account on Etherscan?
Search your address on Etherscan and check the ETH balance there. Also check the transaction activity of your account on the Etherscan to make sure that there is not any unknown transaction there.

Trying to figure this out now too. Been searching everywhere for an answer. New to MetaMask, send my friend $20 through Coinbase. Can see the ETH under “internal transactions” on the hash what does that mean?
