New account - add hardware option

Hello,

When you will download metamask for the first time a similar screen will appear, you have two options:

  1. Use a recovery phrase
  2. Creare a new wallet

Actually there is a 3rd: Connect your hardware wallet

We know that this is possible later, but creating an unused account can brings to errors (you may think that you copied the hardware address instead you are on the software address)

This is a screen of my accounts, the first one is always unused.

Just for reference, connecting the HD wallet at startup is possible on yoroi, terrastation, avax wallet

Hey Aster, this is a very common and popular request, and is already on our roadmap! We are planning to launch this sort of feature soon. :grinning:

Came here to suggest the same. Specifically, the first time I use MetaMask I would like to be able to connect a hardware wallet without also creating a hot wallet where I have to backup a seed phrase. I hope this is what the work-in-progress feature allows. @jacobc.eth
