Trying to restore my account. Have correct seed phase (because I have a snapshot) but it keeps getting rejected. What format should the seed phase be in?
Hello, @blondefish ! Welcome to the community! Please note that the Seed Phrase / Secret Recovery Phrase is composed of 12 English words all in lowercase separated by spaces, and there are no symbols or white spaces in the beginning nor at the end.
Check for any accidental CAPITAL letters because of the keyboard behavior or if any of the words being changed by the autocorrect.
Additionally, please go to this page bips/english.txt at master · bitcoin/bips · GitHub and use the browser’s search function (Cmd+F on Macs; Ctrl+F on Windows) to look for each word that you have written down, so you can check if you spelled it wrong in your backup.
