hi, i have sent some ETH from my Metamask wallet into a BNB Token account with contract address: 0xb8c77482e45f1f44de1745f52c74426c631bdd52
but i cannot see this reflected in my Metamask account, can someone please help me recover the transfer. I have checked on etherscan and the transaction is ‘successful’. FYI i was using etherium mainnet.
Any help will be greatly appreciated as this is beyond my understanding and i am very new to this.

Hey @kashtrades, welcome to the MetaMask community!
Your ETH was sent directly to a contract address. Unfortunately, all transactions on the blockchain are irreversible and these tokens cannot be retrieved.
Were you trying to swap your ETH to BNB? To perform a swap you must use an application such as MetaMask Swaps to be able to swap your tokens, rather than sending them directly to an address.
