Stealing seed phrase or private key via malware

Hi. I couldn’t find a convenient answer to the question, so I’ll ask it here. In short, is it possible for a malware (trojan, infostealer, keylogger, etc) to steal somehow seed phrase or private key from an infected PC? Specifically I’m interested of such a possibility for MetaMask or any other similar non-custodial wallets in the form of a browser extension.
