Can't move assets from Ledger account in Metamask

But i can’t select WebHID.
Yes, i have the Ledger live app closed.
I can’t tick the greyed out box of my Ledger account.
All other accounts are not mine, and as you can see are empty.
When i tick these boxes it only creates a new empty hardware account, as many (just tick the boxes) as i like.

Before doing a re-install, any suggestions how to get this connection running?
How can i add ‘WebHID’? I suppose there lies the problem.
I need that connection with the pop-up screen, i’m pretty sure that’s the problem here.

My guess for why the WebHID is not available is due to an outdated version of MetaMask and/or your Ledger. Your MetaMask is up to date, so it is likely your Ledger. A re-install may also help, as mentioned before, please make sure you have the correct Secret Recovery Phrase.

You should still be able to connect through Ledger Live, but make sure you have your Ledger Live app opened in this case. Your first account is already pre-selected.

I’ve bought myself a new MacBook Air to work with Metamask on a new and separate device for extra safety.

What would you recommend to install? The brave browser instead of Chrome?
Any more tips to avoid the same issues?

The problem has been sorted, pretty sure it was the browser.
I’m using brave now and works fine.
