I have the seed phrase. but would prefer to just log in! the last activities i did with that wallet were defi, and unusual for me. I have checked on chain and the assets are fine. i have heard that changing chain and back again solves this, but that would require logging in, to my knowledge. can u switch chains externally somehow?

Close the MetaMask and browser. Clear the browser cache and cookies. Update your browser and wallet to the latest version. After this, give a try after opening your browser and wallet if it works. Let us know.
